FISH POND

Introduction
There is a freshwater fish pond in PMNH containing live fishes. The size of the fish pond is around 400 sq feet, with 6 feet depth. More than 250 ornamental live fish specimens in the pond attract visitors. The stocked fishes mostly belong to the family Cyprinidae and are commonly known as goldfishes. The cyprinids are the earliest fish to be kept in aquarium. Goldfish vary greatly in size, body shape, fin configuration and coloration (various combinations of white, yellow, orange, red, brown, and black).
