Services Division |
| Public
Services Division is basically involved in public
educational aspects of Pakistan Museum of Natural History.
The science information and research is made
understandable to general public through fascinating
exhibition and display. Thus Division is also responsible
for preparation and designing of PMNH science publications
such as books, monographs and research articles.

To carry out its varied
activities, this Division has divisible into different
sections such as Design and Drawing, Photographic, Model
Making, Education and Public Awareness. All these sections
have highly qualified staff who work in complete
coordination with one other.

|
This
Division also provides services to other scientific
organizations for developing/preparing not only
exhibitions and displays but also in matters relating to
photography and other such projects. |
| This
Division is also responsible for organization student
trips to the Museum and for arranging scientific
lectures and film shows within and outside PMNH. |
|
PSD
is responsible for education of the public on the natural
heritage of Pakistan through a series of exhibits and
displays in the museum galleries. |
|
The
Technology section maintains the databases and
communication infrastructure related to Biodiversity
Global Networking (BGN) and Virtual Orientation Gallery (VOG)
projects of PMNH. |

The public Services Division
are responsible to mass education and awareness about
natural history, the environment and its conservation
seminars, posters, film shows and field guides. |
|
Pakistan
Institute of Natural Sciences (PINS) will shortly be
launched for Msc MPhil’s & Ph.d programs. |
